The R.I.S.E. device houses a highly sophisticated software program. This program is customized according to data entered that is directly related to the individual's smoking habits. The R.I.S.E. device consists of two key components: the Pulser Onset Detector (P.O.D.), an electronic probe which delivers the electro-stimulus to the ear. It is not only safe but also completely painless. The P.O.D. delivers the treatment by directly communicating with the R.I.S.E. device through a transfer of the client's specific data. The treatment is thereby precisely applied to the prescribed reflex points.

The second component is the "I Quit Card" which resembles a credit card. This card has a "smart chip" which contains all of the data related to the "future non-smoker."
